Philip worked at MoMA from about 1932 to 1988 as Curator, Arranger, Installer and Competition Judge , and he was head of the Department of Architecture from 1932–1934 and head of the Department of Architecture and Design from 1949–1954 . He has been in 12 exhibitions at MoMA, between 1944 and 1983.
